Matthew has quickly become a valuable member of LRI, having joined the Calgary team in 2024. He is a skilled professional with 8 years of experience in the fire and life safety industry. Matthew has completed a Fire Protection Engineering Diploma at Seneca College. He has a wide variety of experience in multiple fields including fire alarm and sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, drawing reviews, building and fire code applications, inspections and integrated testing. Matthew has achieved multiple NFPA certifications in Fire inspections, Plans Examiner, Fire and Life Safety educator and public informant officer.

He specializes in building and fire code consulting, ULC and NFPA standards, fire alarm and sprinkler system design, and inspections. Matthew has taken on the role building code implementation for design and inspections on a numerous amounts of projects including residential buildings, hospitals, arenas, regional shopping malls, cold storage warehouses, cinema complexes, government facilities, and mixed-use facilities.
