Mikela is a recent York University graduate who holds an Honours Degree in Disaster and Emergency Management, complemented by a Professional Certificate in Public Administration & Law. Her academic journey has been enriched with multiple certifications, including IMS 100, IMS 200, IMS 300, EM 301, EM 125, EM 131, and EM 200. Previously, Mikela served as an Emergency Management Assistant at the Ministry of the Solicitor General, where she gained valuable experience and developed a robust understanding of integrating emergency management principles theoretically and practically.
