Martina Scaini, B.Eng
Martina joined LRI in 2026 as a member of the Code Engineering team. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. Martina is currently pursuing her Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensure.
Prior to joining LRI, Martina gained valuable experience through a variety of engineering roles in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, sustainability reporting, and building code consulting. Her background includes supporting process improvement initiatives, conducting technical analyses, and contributing to operational excellence projects. Through these roles, Martina developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commitment to ethical engineering practice, and a focus on making decisions that prioritize safety.

In her role as Project Consultant, Martina applies her analytical skills and engineering background to help clients navigate complex design projects. She identifies code-related challenges early in the design process and works collaboratively to develop practical, code-compliant solutions that align with project objectives. Martina is dedicated to providing clients with responsive service, thorough technical support, and practical guidance throughout all stages of the project.
Her expertise includes drawing reviews, code report preparation, alternative solution development, fire modeling, and the application of fire code and NFPA standards to hazardous processes and occupancies. Martina’s goal is to help clients confidently navigate code requirements while creating safe, functional, and code-compliant solutions.
