Farzan Ikhlas, M.Eng., B.Sc.
Farzan joined LRI in 2022, bringing with him a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining LRI, Farzan worked on safety-critical equipment at a manufacturing plant and interned at two other manufacturing plants during his studies.

Farzan is a Project Consultant in the Code Engineering group experienced in Building Code and Fire Code review. Farzan has taken on projects for numerous complex projects across Canada, with a particular focus on Phased Occupancy, Alternative Solution development, Engineering Judgements and Building Condition Assessments. These projects have included large assembly projects, such as shopping and retails centres, universities, high-rise complexes, air supported structures, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Farzan is respected by clients and colleagues for his collaborative approach and attention to detail.
