David possesses nearly three decades of unparalleled expertise in the application of building codes and has been an indispensable part of LRI since 1995, specializing in fire protection and building code consulting. He holds a degree in Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University and is a proud member of the Canadian Fire Safety Association (CFSA). David has earned a reputation for being an astute presenter on Mass Transit at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and at the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Southern Chapter. He is also a distinguished fire safety training instructor.

David is an accomplished senior project manager with specialized skills in the design of rapid transit stations, such as bus rapid transit stations and other transportation facilities, all of which comply with relevant codes. He has extensive experience in devising innovative solutions for new projects as well as renovating historic buildings. David has managed several large cultural institutions, including museums and art galleries, and has contributed to the expansion of existing facilities. He holds a Public Works & Government Services Security Clearance – Secret (Level II), which serves as a testament to his exceptional qualifications.
