Alternate Solutions and Alternate Measures

Alternate Solutions and Alternate Measures

How Engineering and Life Safety discovered the Secret Sauce to Make the Seemingly Impossible…Possible

Join us on on Wednesday September 10th 2025 at 1pm (EDT) for an engaging and insightful session.

Two dynamic speakers—one from the Code Engineering team and the other from our Fire and Life Safety Services team—will present together, offering unique insights into two distinct challenges. They will explore the complexities of balancing prescriptive code requirements with the practical demands of building operations and continued occupancy, where conflict often arises. By addressing these significant challenges, they will demonstrate how innovative approaches can turn seemingly impossible situations into successful outcomes.

The presentation will showcase case studies, each broken into two key segments: the Alternate Solution and the Alternate Measure. Both will highlight the performance-based approaches applied to overcome obstacles, ultimately leading to project completion despite the constraints posed by the Building and Fire codes.

Join us on Wednesday September 10th 2025, 1pm EDT!
