Farzan Ikhlas, M.Eng., B.Sc.
Farzan joined LRI in 2022, bringing with him a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining LRI, Farzan worked on safety-critical equipment at a manufacturing plant and interned at two other manufacturing plants during his studies.

Farzan is a technical consultant in the Code Engineering group with experience in reviewing the Ontario and British Columbia building codes, as well as the National Building Code of Canada. He is also skilled in plan examination and report preparation, phased occupancy review, alternative solution development, and building condition assessments. Farzan has worked on various large assembly projects, including shopping and retail centers, universities, high-rise complexes, and long-term care facilities. Clients and colleagues hold Farzan in high regard for his collaborative approach and attention to detail.
